British Airways World Cargo opens sale office in Thailand

The new sales office - established following a mutually amicable agreement with Qantas Freight - represents a significant boost to BA World Cargo's operations in Thailand, where the carrier aims to build on its solid performance.

BA World Cargo serves Thailand with seven weekly B747-400F flights, which route London - Bangkok - Sydney - Bangkok - London and feed into British Airways World Cargo's global network of 200 destinations in over 80 countries.

Latha Narayan, area commercial manager South-East Asia and Australasia, said: "This appointment is a positive step forward for BA World Cargo in Thailand and demonstrates our commitment to customers in the region. We're looking forward to strengthening the support we can give to customers wishing to take advantage of our unrivalled network."
