Iberia extends auto check-in services

Tags :Continental Europe, Iberia

Iberia has extended its auto check-in online service to an additional 18 international destinations, allowing passengers to download their boarding cards from the airline’s web site.

People flying to or from Istanbul, Bogota, Lima, Quito, Guayaquil, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Bucharest, Tel Aviv, Casablanca and Johannesburg can now avail themselves of this time-saving facility.

On-line check-in is now available for Iberia passengers bound for Cairo, Algiers, Tangiers, Marrakech, Dakar, and Lagos, and soon it will be available for passengers with flights originating in those cities.

With these additions, on-line check-in is now available on practically all Iberia flights, excepting those to or from the United States, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Mexico, and Central America where it is currently seen as  incompatible with document control regulations. Iberia is actively seeking a solution so that passengers flying to or from these destinations can also enjoy the facility.

The extension of on-line check-in is one of the aims of Iberia’s newly-launched Comprehensive Customer Service Plan, intended to improve services to Iberia customers across the board.
