bmibaby launch new route from Cardiff to Menorca

bmibaby expects to carry over 13,600 passengers on this new service over the summer months.  Flights will depart Cardiff Airport on Friday and Sunday and will operate until 31-Oct-2009.  Fares start from just GMP36.99 one way including taxes and charges.

Managing director, bmibaby, Crawford Rix, announced "We are pleased to launch this new route from Cardiff Airport to Menorca this week.  With our fantastically low fares, it means that people can still afford to getaway this summer.

"The island offers a tranquil break away and has many beautiful white sandy beaches, unexplored coves and ravines.   The capital city Mahon is steeped in history and offers a great base from which to explore the rest of the island.

"We believe the route to Menorca from Cardiff Airport will prove very popular with families, couples and intrepid explorers alike and early bookings support this.
