In addition to the existing routes to Verona, Turin and Catania, new flights to Bergamo, Palermo, Olbia and Nice are to be added which will allow Air Italy to offer a total of 75 flights per week thus further consolidating its position at Naples Airport. Air Italy considers Naples to be an important strategic centre of it network and, as of this year, is one of the main sponsors of the Naples football team. The Naples – Bergamo route, offering both morning and evening service, is destined for business travellers as it aims to serve the entire area North-East of Milan. The following flight times will be in effect: Naples/Bergamo 7.00a.m./8.20 a.m. and 6.25p.m./7.45p.m.; Bergamo/Naples 8.55a.m. /10.10 a.m. and 8.20 p.m./9.35 p.m. The Naples - Palermo route will consolidate service to Sicily and is primarily aimed at leisure travellers. The following flight times will be in effect: Naples/Palermo 10.45a.m./11.30a.m.; Palermo/Naples 5.00p.m./5.50p.m: Air Italy will also provide service to the Costa Smeralda (from 11 June) and the French Riviera (starting 26 July) with flights to Olbia and Nice offered at competitive prices several times a week which will be doubled during the summer season. Air Italy currently provides service from Naples to Verona three times a week and to Catania and Turin two times a week. Air Italy continues to focus great attention on the cost/quality ratio; a policy which has resulted to high levels of customer satisfaction. The company has also maintained high on-time performance levels: the average for the last 12 months was 94% with monthly peaks of 98%. In launching the new flights, Air Italy has made 60,000 round trip tickets available at € 49 O/W all included. “Naples represents a fundamental junction in air traffic.
